A challenge can end on a rule you misread just as easily as on a bad trade. This page puts the rules that decide a pass or a fail side by side, for one common program at each of three firms, and then shows how to check each rule type on your own numbers with our free tools.

Two The5%ers pages give different numbers
The High Stakes page lists a 5% daily loss. The 2-Step rules FAQ (last updated 2 November 2026) gives 3% and also a different withdrawal minimum and cap from the High Stakes payout FAQ. We can't tell from these pages which applies to which account, so we show both. Ask The5%ers, and set your limit to the number they confirm for your account.
Check each rule type on your own numbers
Daily loss: know what it is measured from
Two limits with similar percentages can sit in very different places. FundedNext measures from the initial balance, so a $100,000 account has a $5,000 limit, and a $2,000 profit by noon lifts that day's limit to $7,000 (the firm's own example). FXIFY measures 4% from the previous day's closing balance, so a $100,000 close means a breach at $96,000 (also its own example).
The daily drawdown calculator has presets for all three firms: it shows today's floor, the room left and when the limit resets.
Maximum loss: static or trailing
A static floor stays where it is. On $100,000 at FundedNext it stays at $90,000, however much you make. FXIFY's Standard floor follows your high-water mark: at a high of $104,000, 10% of the initial balance puts it at $94,000, so a profit you gave back can still cost you the account. After your first payout request it locks to the initial balance. A trailing-end-of-day floor, which some firms use, moves only at the daily close; none of these three pages describes one for these programs.
The prop firm drawdown calculator shows your floor and your distance to a breach for static, trailing and end-of-day types. For the idea in plain words, read trailing vs static drawdown.
Consistency: mostly after you pass
On these programs the consistency rules in the table apply to a funded or live account, not the evaluation. If yours has one, the consistency rule calculator shows your best day's share, how much more profit you need and the most you may make in one day. Type the percentage from your firm's page. The consistency rule explained has worked examples.
News: mark the window before it opens
The windows differ: FundedNext's funded accounts use 5 minutes either side, The5%ers 2 minutes either side, and each firm decides which events count. Follow high-impact releases in our market news, then confirm against the calendar your firm uses.
Minimum days, payouts and the cost of it all
The challenge pass calculator tests your win rate and risk against a target, a loss limit and minimum days. The payout calculator shows what a split and a fee refund leave you, and the challenge ROI calculator weighs the fee against your pass rate. These are estimates from what you type, not a forecast of any result.
While you trade: the tracker
The prop firm challenge tracker in ICC Zillas takes your firm's numbers once, then checks every synced or imported trade against the profit target, daily loss, static or trailing drawdown, minimum days and consistency rule, and keeps a ledger of fees and payouts. You type the rules, so copy them from the firm's current page. What to log each day is in what to put in a prop firm trading journal.

Questions
Which prop firm has the easiest rules?
We don't rank them, and no rule set is easy in itself. A wider daily limit can come with a higher target, and a static floor can come with other conditions. Compare the rows against how you trade, and read each firm's current page.
Are these numbers up to date?
They were checked on 6 November 2026 on each firm's own pages, linked in each table cell. Firms change rules, so the firm's current page always wins.
What is the difference between static and trailing drawdown?
A static floor stays at a fixed level, such as 90% of the initial balance. A trailing floor rises with your high-water mark, so the room above it shrinks when you give back profit. In the table, FundedNext Stellar 2-Step is static and FXIFY 2-Phase Standard is trailing.
Why does the table say to check the firm's page?
Because the official page we read does not state that detail, or two official pages disagree. We don't fill those gaps from review sites or from memory.
Do you earn money from these firms?
We have partner links with all three and may earn a commission if you buy through them. That does not change the numbers or the order, which is alphabetical.
Will these tools help me pass a challenge?
They show your numbers against the rules. They can't promise a pass or a payout. Prop firm challenges are paid evaluations and most traders don't pass; trade only what you can afford to lose.
